Event #1

Don't miss our Jackpot Party Drawing every first Saturday of the month

Everyone that hits a hand paid jackpot of $500 or more is automatically entered into a cash drawing that grows every time a jackpot is hit. Each drawing is held the first Saturday of the following month between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. You must be present to win the Grand Prize. However, your presence is not required to win consolation prizes. If the Grand Prize winner is not present, the Grand Prize cash amount will roll over into the next month.

Enthusiastic female audience members are lining up across the country to see this fabulous ladies night event. The Men of Las Vegas create a great atmosphere in your venue. It is a party in which everyone gets to play and have fun. The Men of Las Vegas troupe help make fantasies become reality as they create a heat wave.

Poker Events

Heartland Poker League

The Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino Poker Room is sponsoring a 14-week Heartland Poker League.

Every Thursday night at 7:00 pm beginning May 15th through August 14th a tournament will be held with the top 20% of players wining a cash prize that night plus points in the league standing.

Buy-in will be $80.00 with a $20.00 Entry fee.

Grand Prize:

The player with the most accumulated points from the weekly tournaments will receive a main event package into a televised Heartland Poker Tour Event. The main event package has a minimum value of $2200.00.

Consolation Prizes:

The player with the most points in the June tournaments will qualify for a seat into televised Heartland Poker Tour Event with a minimum of $340.00 and a maximum value of $450.00.

The player with the most points in the July tournaments will qualify for a seat into televised Heartland Poker Tour Event with a minimum of $340.00 and a maximum value of $450.00.

All players that win money must fill out a release form provided by the Heartland Poker League.

One optional re-buy of $150
registration will be from
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Initial starting chips will be 4000.
The optional re-buy will be 6000 chips.
Players must make their optional re-but before the fourth round.

Players who go all in and lose must make their re-buy prior to the start of the next hand or they will not be allowed to re-buy.
Players must be present to buy-in.

The tournament will begin at promptly at 3:00 pm,
there are no satellites for this tournament.

Chili Cook-Off
June 20th - 22nd
The Cripple Creek Chili Cook-Off event is hot! Come taste the showcased skills of our chili cooks that compete for the red chili, the green chili, and the salsa prize. The event includes street vendors, entertainment, and much more!


Donkey Derby Days
June 27th – 29th, 2008

Cripple Creek’s best-known celebration, dates back to the 1930s. Local businessman Charley Lehew thought the town needed a celebration to attract people in the summer months. He didn’t have to look further than the town’s resident donkey herd, descendants of the donkeys that had been used for hauling to and from the gold mines. Lehew and two other business built a race track, solicited advertising, and arranged concessions and entertainment. The first Donkey Derby Days were a success. Today, in its 77th year, the two-day festival draws people from around the country.

4th of July Celebration
July 4th - 6th, 2008

Residents of the gold camp have always loved to celebrate the Fourth of July. In 1900, a crowd estimated at more than 10,000 gathered for a giant celebration, parade and fireworks. The 2008 event will feature a massive fireworks display choreographed to music.

Cripple Creek Honors America's Armed Forces

August 15th – 17th, 2008

Throughout the years, the City of Cripple Creek has had a tradition of honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. This year, the community is proud to announce that tradition continues with Cripple Creek Honors America Armed Forces. This two-day event will feature multiple festivities saluting the efforts of our military's active duty and veterans.

Cruise Above the Clouds
September 13th - 14th, 2008
The Cruise Above the Clouds Car Show was officially organized in 1998 as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an annual car show for the benefit of local cherities.
This show accommodates up to 300 vintage, custom or classic cars and motorcycles.


Fall Festival
September 15th & 16h, 2008

The gold camp lives up to its name in the fall, when the aspen-covered hillsides glow in shades of gold. Warm afternoons and clear blue skies complement nature’s show. Cripple Creek celebrates this magical time of year with a variety of events and Jeep tours. Event updates and schedules coming soon.

Gold Camp Christmas
December 5th – 7th, 2008

Christmas is a magical time in Cripple Creek. The Gold Camp Victorian Society members stroll along Bennett Avenue. The society also participates in the annual Christmas parade.
